Fit2Work Ltd Occupational Health provides a complete range of services on site or at one of our consulting rooms throughout Cumbria, individually formulated and costed to meet our clients’ requirements.

This is used to assess the individuals ‘fitness for work’, the outcome of the assessment is reported back to the employer. A pre-placement assessment may take form as a paper screening, telephone or face to face interview, depending on company requirements.

Our occupational health advisors will carry out a comprehensive assessment of employees that have been identified as being at risk from working at a display screen. We will then offer medical based advice and make any necessary recommendations in a detailed report.

Fit2work can assist organisations in identifying causes of stress, measure the risk, implement preventative measures and monitor the effectiveness of preventative measures.

We work closely with qualified, trained therapists. Referrals are made quickly and confidentially, employees are usually seen with in a week at one of our consulting rooms.

We have strong links with private physiotherapists in Carlisle, Penrith, Kendal and Lancaster, employees are seen within one working week. A comprehensive report is obtained to assist rehabilitation if required. The physiotherapist will visit the workplace to offer further recommendations if deemed necessary.

Fit2work can hold health promotion sessions/presentations on site covering a wide range of topics, posters, leaflets and handouts are all included in the price.

Fit2work can hold regular or one off lifestyle assessments, this involves – blood pressure, cholesterol, body mass index. We discuss diet, exercise, alcohol consumption and smoking habits. On completion of the assessment we give the employee a personal recommendation report, tailor made to their assessment.

Fit2Work Ltd can also liaise with Occupational Hygienists who can carry out noise, dust, chemical surveys, ventilation and air assessments.
