Chris Britton, British Gypsum

In 2010 we took a policy decision to establish an occupational health (OH) provision at our Kendal site. We are a manufacturing business employing 211 people in a variety of roles ranging from administration to heavy industrial processes. Sally Baker at Fit2Work was appointed to deliver our OH requirements. Policies and procedures tailored to our needs were developed and implemented by Fit2Work. Sally uses an evidence-based approach for health surveillance which is very important to us because it introduces efficiencies to our business by targeting the OH resource only where it is needed. We particularly like the “no-nonsense” approach of Fit2Work because we know the job will get done with the minimum of disruption to production.

I recently approached Fit2Work for advice regarding health monitoring.
